We started mowing last week but didn't get far before the rains made it too muddy to negotiate the ditches. We had several trees to cut up that had fallen across the road on Tuesday and Wednesday. One, just off CR1030, required almost all day. Thursday, we found some area in the precinct that we could mow that wasn't too wet and we also did some patching. Friday, we worked the same tasks as Thursday until noon, but all but one crew member took off the afternoon on their comp time.
Today, we continued mowing the ditches and we also started one of my priorities, CR1200. We scabbed about 100 yds of the road where we had patched and repatched. Weather permitting, we hope to get much of the road repaired between VOC-NET and the haul bridge!
